Product Details
Rocker Type
Tip & Tail Rocker– Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle.
Sidecut
3D Radius Sidecut– Three radii in one ski shape deliver maximum versatility - long radii at the tip and tail for stability and smoothness, and a short radius in the mid-body allows the skier to switch from long arcs to short turns at will, at any speed.
Shape
3D.Ridge Technology– The distinctive characteristic of this technology is a raised central ridge that sharply levels out towards the edges, both in front of and behind the binding. This reduces the inertial mass around the fulcrum to a minimum and significantly enhances the agility of the ski. At the same time, the center ridge allows for a precise dimensioning of the hardness distribution, which leads to an especially harmonious flex on the ski. Despite the weight savings, 3D.Ridge ensures that there are no compromises in the ski‘s durability and elasticity.
Core
Multilayer Woodcore– The combination of beech and poplar results in an extremely durable wood core composed of hard wood in the binding area and lighter wood surrounding it.
Laminates
3D.Glass– Three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and tail area or binding area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound in turns.
Titanal Frame– Metal, yes, but less of it and only around the perimeter of the tip and tail, to retain the performance advantages of Titanal with less weight.
Sidewalls
Full Sidewall– Full length sidewalls provide optimal power transmission for the length of the ski.
Base
P-Tex 4504– A sintered, ultra-high molecular polyethylene base with an extremely high density. Besides a great wear resistance and perfect wax absorption, P-Tex 4504 is extremely fast and exclusively used on Volkl´s top of the line and race models. The material has been upgraded with special additives to make it thermal and electro-conductive and proves its qualities with premium glide and maximum speed in races.
Included Bindings
Includes Lowride XL Bindings– DIN Range 4 - 13
Demo Bindings Come Mounted to Skis– Always have a certified binding technician adjust your bindings.

- Terrain: Carving, All-Mountain More
Terrain
CarvingFor those that like the classic feeling of laying a ski over on edge and arcing a perfect turn, carving skis are what you want. These skis have narrower waists and shorter turn radii for edge to edge quickness and responsive turn initiation and exit on groomed runs and hard pack. The beginner-intermediate skis in this category are designed to make learning how to turn as easy as going from pizza to French fries. All-MountainAll-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.

- Ability Level: Advanced-Expert More
Ability Level
Advanced-ExpertWhether you charge the steepest lines, hit the biggest jumps in the park or carve with race-like precision, advanced to expert level skis, snowboards, boots and bindings are for the more aggressive rider. In skis and snowboards, you´ll often find layers of metal, carbon or other stringers for rigidity and power, while advanced to expert level boots and bindings are usually on the stiffer side of the spectrum for rebound and precision steering.
- Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker More
Rocker Type
Rocker/Camber/RockerRocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as well as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
- Turning Radius: Short More
Turning Radius
Short< 16 m radius is best for carving.
- Core/Laminates: Wood
- Tail Type: Flat More
Tail Type
FlatThis is your traditional tail, designed to have edge contact all the way through the tail, and only designed for skiing forward. This is also preferred for alpine touring, as you can stick the tails of your skis in the snow.
