Product Details
Rocker Type
Rock Out Camber– Flat between your bindings for stability, camber near the feet for response, and rocker on the tip/tail for pressability.
Flex
Flex Rating– 4 (1 Soft - 5 Stiff)
Shape
Tapered Directional– Tail width is slightly tapered (2-20mm). This loosens up turning initiation and improves floatation in deeper snow without sacrificing edge hold on hardpack.
Radial Sidecut– Radial is the classic sidecut for consistent response forward and switch.
Core
Aspen SLCT Core– Every single wood strip is hand selected to ensure unparalleled core quality and lightness.
Popster– Popster´s shaped core profile is strategically milled inside of the insert packs, allowing the board to flex more naturally underfoot and transfer energy into the nose and tail for added pop.
Laminates
Ghost Basalt Stringers– Basalt stringers are sewn into a trail layer for durable pop, control, and damp ride at speed, and easy maneuverability when you´re keeping it mellow.
Biaxial Medium Density Fiberglass– Medium density European-made fiberglass layers guarantee a consistent quality level, for light and lively boards.
Sidewalls
Gunslinger Sidewalls– These sidewalls implement carbon inlays that run the full length of the board to meet the reaction and shock absorption needs of all riders.
Base
Area 51 Base– Built to go faster and fly higher, the Area 51 base is a high-density sintered base laced with a super secret wax formula and a specially engineered factory finish designed for air time and durability.
Fine Stone Finish– Fine stone finish helps speed up in powder or softer snow conditions.
Edges
All-Mountain Edge Bevel– A 1° edge holding tune throughout the key parts of the sidecut meets a 2° bevel between the feet. This delivers the most solid edge hold with no hang-ups.
Additional Features
30% Bio-based Resin– High performance with low environmental impact, this bio-based resin is made with 30% of its molecular structure derived from plants.

Terrain
All-MountainAll-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice. FreerideFreeride snowboards are designed for the rider that spends most of the day off groomed runs and in backcountry terrain. They typically have a stiffer flex and are ridden in longer sizes than freestyle snowboards. Freeride snowboards often feature a directional shape that is designed to perform optimally in one direction. PowderPowder snowboards love powder. Often associated with freeride snowboards, powder boards sometimes feature a wider nose and a tapered narrower tail. The binding inserts, which determine the rider´s stance, are often set back on a powder snowboard to help the rider float the tip of the board through the deep stuff. Powder snowboards sometimes also feature rocker, a design element where the tip (and tail) rise starts farther back on the board, which also helps the rider maintain tip float through the pow.
- Ability Level: Advanced-Expert More
Ability Level
Advanced-ExpertWhether you charge the steepest lines, hit the biggest jumps in the park or carve with race-like precision, advanced to expert level skis, snowboards, boots and bindings are for the more aggressive rider. In skis and snowboards, you´ll often find layers of metal, carbon or other stringers for rigidity and power, while advanced to expert level boots and bindings are usually on the stiffer side of the spectrum for rebound and precision steering.
- Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker More
Rocker Type
Rocker/Camber/RockerRocker/Camber/Rocker shapes seek to give you both hard-carving edgehold on firm snow from camber underfoot with enhanced turnability and float in powder from the rockered tip and tail. This profile is increasingly popular for freeride boards designed primarily for soft snow.
- Shape: Directional
- Flex Rating: Stiff More
Flex Rating
StiffThe amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers´ number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
