Rocker Type
PowderHull 2.0 + Camber– The 3D PowderHull starts with a base profile combining two distinct rocker lines that when blended together create a pronounced base concave in the nose and tail. At the nose, the concave draws air under the board - just as a concave spoon-nose does on long boards in the surf - causing list and flotation. As the snow moves across the base, it releases off the tail and the exaggerated rocker line along the center, causing the tail to drop downward.
Flex
Flex Rating– 7 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
Shape
True Twin– A completely symmetrical outline houses a centered stance that is effective on edge, a tip and tail, and is identical at both ends of the board. The radial sidecut is effective and predictable. The overall shape allows complete freedom of expression by keeping the board a neutral, yet responsive board.
MidBite– MidBite blends the response of a narrow waist width with the stability of a wider nose & tail.
Core
Weightless Core– The Weightless Core strikes a critical balance between light weight and strength. Using a lower density species of Poplar in areas that are not as structured and Paulownia in the areas that are, Yes. was able to shave precious weight. This helps the board not only float, but "feel" floaty.
CoreLess Tech– CoreLess tech creates translucent "holes" in the PowderHull, allowing for a lighter swingweight and more refined bottom contours.
Laminates
Triaxal Glass
Base
PH Sintered True– rue Sintered is harder and more expensive than extruded and it can be faster for those that ride aggressively fast. But to do that, it needs to be waxed and prepared for local conditions. This “Sintered PH Spec” material is specifically chosen for unique flex qualities necessary for the PowderHull’s complex 3D surfacing.

- Terrain: Freeride, Powder More
Terrain
FreerideFreeride snowboards are designed for the rider that spends most of the day off groomed runs and in backcountry terrain. They typically have a stiffer flex and are ridden in longer sizes than freestyle snowboards. Freeride snowboards often feature a directional shape that is designed to perform optimally in one direction. PowderPowder snowboards love powder. Often associated with freeride snowboards, powder boards sometimes feature a wider nose and a tapered narrower tail. The binding inserts, which determine the rider´s stance, are often set back on a powder snowboard to help the rider float the tip of the board through the deep stuff. Powder snowboards sometimes also feature rocker, a design element where the tip (and tail) rise starts farther back on the board, which also helps the rider maintain tip float through the pow.
- Ability Level: Advanced-Expert More
Ability Level
Advanced-ExpertWhether you charge the steepest lines, hit the biggest jumps in the park or carve with race-like precision, advanced to expert level skis, snowboards, boots and bindings are for the more aggressive rider. In skis and snowboards, you´ll often find layers of metal, carbon or other stringers for rigidity and power, while advanced to expert level boots and bindings are usually on the stiffer side of the spectrum for rebound and precision steering.
- Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker More
Rocker Type
Rocker/Camber/RockerRocker/Camber/Rocker shapes seek to give you both hard-carving edgehold on firm snow from camber underfoot with enhanced turnability and float in powder from the rockered tip and tail. This profile is increasingly popular for freeride boards designed primarily for soft snow.
- Shape: True Twin
- Flex Rating: Stiff More
Flex Rating
StiffThe amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers´ number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
