Rocker Type

System Camber If you want a highly responsive ride, crisp on-edge performance, and more pop for carving and ollies - all with smoother camber performance - then System Camber shapes are for you. The camber progressively reduces toward the tip and tail, making the leading edge less aggressive for cleaner on-snow performance.

Flex

Flex Rating:7 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)

Shape

Grip-TechA tri-radial sidecut design that is not "blended." Natural shaping intersections, that in the past were eliminated, have been transformed into heel and toe contact points that provide a direct, more ergonomic way to grip the snow when additional control is needed.

Core

Highland Split CoreThe highly versatile Highland Core is constructed with a 1:2 blend of poplar and paulownia, with additional insert and centerline components for a premium factory splitboard.

Laminates

Mixed GlassingA triax over biax lay-up that´s best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps, and more.

Sidewalls

360° Fully Wrapped SidewallsEliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.

Base

Sintered BaseA higher molecular weight, sintered base that provides added durability and speed.

Edges

Recycled Steel EdgesHighly durable, recycled steel edges embody Arbor´s key values: quality and sustainability.

Topsheet

Real Wood PowerplyBuilt with natural fiber to drive performance and aesthetic.

Karakoram UltraClipKarakoram’s premium splitboard clip is powerful, easier to use, and lighter. The lever locks in the touring position as well to eliminate unwanted movement on the ascent.

  • Terrain: Splitboarding More

    Terrain

SplitboardingA splitboard snowboard is built specifically for the backcountry rider. Splitboards are designed to break down into two separate halves for touring and uphill travel (with climbing skins). Special bindings are required as well. Once you´ve reached the top of the terrain feature, you reconnect your splitboard for the ride back downhill. However, it´s important to note that you will need appropriate backcountry tools, knowledge of the backcountry, weather and snow conditions and climbing skins to safely take advantage of the freedom of a splitboard.

  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced More

    Ability Level

Intermediate-AdvancedWhether you’re a progressing intermediate exploring new runs and terrain, or an accomplished rider seeking new thrills, the majority of skiers and snowboarders fall into this level. Intermediate to advanced skis and snowboards may be somewhat wider or stiffer than beginner-intermediate skis and snowboards, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Intermediate to advanced boots and bindings range from softer flexing freestyle options to stiffer choices built for stability at speed.

  • Rocker Type: Camber More

    Rocker Type

CamberCamber is the traditional profile for snowboards, and still popular among high-level park and pipe riders because it offers maximum energy and pop. A cambered board has a smooth arch underfoot and touches near the tip and tail when unweighted; when the rider’s weight is added, it provides a long, evenly pressured running surface and edge.

  • Shape: Directional
  • Flex Rating: Stiff More

    Flex Rating

StiffThe amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers´ number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
