System Camber– If you want a highly responsive ride, crisp on-edge performance, and more pop for carving and ollies - all with smoother camber performance - then System Camber shapes are for you. The camber progressively reduces toward the tip and tail, making the leading edge less aggressive for cleaner on-snow performance.

Shape

Grip-Tech– A tri-radial sidecut design that is not "blended." Natural shaping intersections, that in the past were eliminated, have been transformed into heel and toe contact points that provide a direct, more ergonomic way to grip the snow when additional control is needed.

Highland Split Core– The highly versatile Highland Core is constructed with a 1:2 blend of poplar and paulownia, with additional insert and centerline components for a premium factory splitboard.

Karakoram UltraClip– Karakoram’s premium splitboard clip is powerful, easier to use, and lighter. Once joined, the UltraClip fully constrains the seam of your splitboard to eliminate seam rattling, seam shearing, and seam rolling. The lever locks in the touring position as well to eliminate unwanted movement on the ascent.

  SplitboardingA splitboard snowboard is built specifically for the backcountry rider. Splitboards are designed to break down into two separate halves for touring and uphill travel (with climbing skins). Special bindings are required as well. Once you´ve reached the top of the terrain feature, you reconnect your splitboard for the ride back downhill. However, it´s important to note that you will need appropriate backcountry tools, knowledge of the backcountry, weather and snow conditions and climbing skins to safely take advantage of the freedom of a splitboard.

  StiffThe amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers´ number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
