Rocker Type
Alpine V One– The ALPINE V1 Profile design features mid-body camber with a flat tail and a reverse cambered nose. This allows for tons of pop and stability on hard pack while increasing float and landing power, improving the rider’s performance in deep snow. The camber runs longer in the tail—providing extra power for the ascent or for larger riders drawn to a dedicated wide series.
Flat Kick– With CAPiTA’s FLAT KICK design technology, they’ve tightened the tip profile radius that blends the shoulders of the board into the tip and tail height on reverse camber boards. The tight tip radius in conjunction with tuned blend zones allows you to have a forgiving and easy to ride reverse camber board that is still responsive and quick during edge to edge transitions. This also creates a flat tip and tail which increases jibbing stability and also helps the board plane on top of powder creating float and control.
Flex
Flex– 7 (1 = Soft, 10 = Stiff)
Shape
Death Grip™ Sidecut– DEATH GRIP™ is a design theory that incorporates a reverse sidecut arc in the midsection of the board. This reverse camber arc provides a point of contact to apply pressure and retain control throughout the turn in both freestyle and freeride settings.
Directional
Core
3D Ascend 1 Split Core– Mega-premium Poplar graded by weight and consistency aligned with Paulownia and an ABS centerline providing optimal strength to weight ratio. This high-end split specific core achieves a signature feel by utilizing a higher volume of thinner pressure-bonded Paulownia wood core strips for a ultra light weight chassis.
Laminates
Pure Megacarbon™ Epoxy Resin– Known for its rigidity, high-tensile strength, low weight, high-temperature tolerance, and low thermal expansion, Carbon Fiber is one of the most popular materials used in today’s high-performance applications. Capita increases power and response on a wide range of models by integrating dierent adaptations of carbon fiber thickness, width, weight, or weave while ensuring the boards remain ultralight
Base
Moonshot Omni-Tune™– The MOONSHOT OMNI-TUNE™ is an aftermarket high-performance race-base structure that wicks water from your base at a 45-degree angle making these boards fast as f*#k to the lift line or to the finish line.
Topsheet
Megalite Skin™ Topsheet– Super thin yet durable matte lamina for 60% weight reduction over Capita´s regular topsheets.
Digital + Screen Print with Chrome Silver

- Terrain: Splitboarding More
Terrain
SplitboardingA splitboard snowboard is built specifically for the backcountry rider. Splitboards are designed to break down into two separate halves for touring and uphill travel (with climbing skins). Special bindings are required as well. Once you´ve reached the top of the terrain feature, you reconnect your splitboard for the ride back downhill. However, it´s important to note that you will need appropriate backcountry tools, knowledge of the backcountry, weather and snow conditions and climbing skins to safely take advantage of the freedom of a splitboard.
- Ability Level: Advanced-Expert More
Ability Level
Advanced-ExpertWhether you charge the steepest lines, hit the biggest jumps in the park or carve with race-like precision, advanced to expert level skis, snowboards, boots and bindings are for the more aggressive rider. In skis and snowboards, you´ll often find layers of metal, carbon or other stringers for rigidity and power, while advanced to expert level boots and bindings are usually on the stiffer side of the spectrum for rebound and precision steering.
- Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker More
Rocker Type
Rocker/Camber/RockerRocker/Camber/Rocker shapes seek to give you both hard-carving edgehold on firm snow from camber underfoot with enhanced turnability and float in powder from the rockered tip and tail. This profile is increasingly popular for freeride boards designed primarily for soft snow.

- Flex Rating: Stiff More
Flex Rating
StiffThe amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers´ number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
