High Volume Setting– In the High Volume setting, the pump will push larger amounts of air through the tube with each stroke. This setting is ideal for mountain bikes or tires that have a higher volume capacity (i.e. 2.0" - 3.0" tires).

High Pressure Setting– In the High Pressure setting, the pump will push smaller amounts of air through the tube with more ease. The HP setting is ideal for road tires or when pumping in the HV setting becomes difficult and more tire pressure is required.
