Refined Tuning and Kinematics Create a Lively, Progressive Platform– The new Sentinel may have a similar silhouette, but Transition have fully redesigned the frame with updated industrial design, features, and geometry to turn it up a notch. The leverage curve supports the bike higher in its travel, leaving plenty of room for big hits while keeping it light on its feet to remain nimble, and quick everywhere else. This gives it the lively, sporty attitude felt in the Spur and Smuggler without sacrificing its capabilities in rougher terrain. New size specific chainstays and a 64 degree headtube angle keep riders balanced with great traction on climbs and descents. Geo Adjust Chip– The lower shock mount has a geo-adjust flip chip to accommodate mixed wheels, and features a new design that allows water, dirt and debris to easily wash away. Change the attitude of the bike with a simple flip of a chip. High and Low settings give you two very usable geo settings to suit your riding style: High is comparable to most other companies´ low settings so there´s a high shred warning in effect!

New Cable Routing Ports– Cable ports on the side of the headtube allow for easy and simple cable routing with customizable routing for mechanical or wireless shifting as well as left or right rear brake routing. The new port stops cables from getting kinked during a crash and holds them tight to prevent rattling. If you aren’t using the port at all, simply cover it with the supplied insert to prevent dirt or water getting inside your frame, as well as keeping a clean aesthetic. These ports help improve the look and quality of the frame, while remaining functional and simple for maintenance.

Main Pivot Mud Guard– The Sentinel comes with a pre-installed mud guard to protect the main pivot area, improving the bearing life.

Size Specific Chainstays (XS 436, SM/MD 442, LG/XL/XXL 448)– The Sentinel has size-specific chainstay lengths to provide balanced handling and rider weight distribution across the range of sizes.
