Rocker Type
3BT™ (Triple Base Technology) with SideKick™– All Bataleon boards feature tip to tail positive camber in combination with lifted sidebase contact points. SideKick™ Tips enhance 3BT’s advantages like nothing you experienced before by dramatically increasing the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder and handling of the board in rough terrain.
Medium Camber– Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. higher is not always better...
Flex
Flex Rating– 6 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
Shape
True Twin– Boards that are shaped for the park are designed with maximum center base width and minimal side base uplift. Creating a stable landing platform with confidence boosting forgiveness and next level agility. Think about your tricks not about your edges.
Medium Nose Sidebase Uplift– The gradual side base uplift in the nose determines how the board will behave on snow. most effected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder.
Medium Tail Sidebase Uplift– The gradual side base uplift in the tail determines how the board will behave on snow. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology making Bataleon boards more versatile than others.
3BT™ Triple Base Technology™– Triple Base Technology™ is awesome. The lifted sidebase areas at the widest points of the board make a lot of sense. The boards turn smoother and faster and it helps when you are not completely clean on your landings.
Core
Super Ultra Light Core– Bataleon´s lightest core features an 80/20 blend of Paulownia and poplar for the ultimate in featherweight response.
AirRide™– The AirRide™ core additive dampens vibrations and makes riding smoother at high speeds. It’s like having a suspension system in your snowboard.
Laminates
Carbon Stringers– Carbon is feather light and adds explosive pop, precise edge control, reactive response and smooth dampening to a board. Bataleon uses this to beef up the flex pattern.
Central Super Tube– Central Super Tube is a hollow carbon core upgrades that is inserted into the core in the center of the board. The hollow carbon tube greatly increases the woodcore’s pop and reduce weight.
Tri-Ax Laminate– The three-way fibreglass weave is light, strong and crazy responsive. This is used to beef up the flex pattern on more aggressive boards.
Sidewalls
Shock Walls– Urethane infused sidewall technology. ShockWalls smooth out your ride and are more resistant to impact.
Base
Ultra Glide S Base– A premium, 7000-grade sintered base reserved for high-end models. Packing more molecules into the P-tex means it’s super tough and hauls ass.
Additional Features
Float Ration– 56 (10 min float - 100 max float)

- Terrain: Freestyle More
Terrain
FreestyleFreestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
- Ability Level: Advanced-Expert More
Ability Level
Advanced-ExpertWhether you charge the steepest lines, hit the biggest jumps in the park or carve with race-like precision, advanced to expert level skis, snowboards, boots and bindings are for the more aggressive rider. In skis and snowboards, you´ll often find layers of metal, carbon or other stringers for rigidity and power, while advanced to expert level boots and bindings are usually on the stiffer side of the spectrum for rebound and precision steering.
- Rocker Type: Camber More
Rocker Type
CamberCamber is the traditional profile for snowboards, and still popular among high-level park and pipe riders because it offers maximum energy and pop. A cambered board has a smooth arch underfoot and touches near the tip and tail when unweighted; when the rider’s weight is added, it provides a long, evenly pressured running surface and edge.
- Shape: True Twin
- Flex Rating: Medium More
Flex Rating
MediumThe amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers´ number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
