Instep Flex Zone - Boa Specific– The Instep Flex Zone functions to maintain natural ankle flexion in your boot, whether in or out of your bindings.

Vans Flex Control System– Removable high-rebound Hytrel® tongue stiffeners allow riders to custom-tune their flex. Slide them both in for maximum support, use just one to provide either increased lateral or medial response or leave them out for a softer-flexing boot. As boots soften up over the course of a season, you can add the tongue stiffeners back in to extend the life of your boots.

Powercuff Strap– Providing extra support at the top of the boot for increased stability and response. Its configuration gives riders customizable levels of engagement and the option of wrapping the strap around the internal liner or the exterior tongue.

FlashDry fabric technology is engineered to act like a second skin, pushing moisture to the surface and eliminating it as fast as possible. These fabrics are engineered to repel and resist wetting out to help provide quick-drying performance that keep the user dry and comfortable. Setting a new industry standard in moisture management and allconditions comfort, this technology has now been integrated into all of the Vans V3 UltraCush™ TNF FlashDry liners.

Lacing System

Vans Hybrid Plus Boa– The Hybrid system merges traditional lacing with the power of Boa closure at the instep. The Hybrid Plus system expands the range of flex control by adding an extra Boa pass around the back of the boot and across the instep to optimize the lines of pull and maximize flex control.

Vans Custom Slide Guide– Anatomical shape provides adjustable fit anywhere along the instep area for added comfort and unrivaled heel hold.

Additional Features

Adaptive Range Mode– Features a Rear Drop-Cuff that can be unlocked to widen the cuff opening for expanded range of motion while walking or skinning.

Waterproof Zipper Shroud and D Ring– This feature is a durable and weatherproof fabric shield that protects the lower part of your boot from snow, ice, and moisture, ensuring easy access to your Boa closure no matter what the weather throws at you. It also features a metal D-ring for securely fastening your pant gaiters to lock out snow.

  StiffThe amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers´ number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
